Brave and alert, the Scottie is hardy and lovable. They are charming and full of character. Playful and friendly as a puppy, he matures into a dignified adult. It has a long coat that reaches the floor, each hair is distinguished from the next giving the appearance of a real dogs hair and a nice thick coat. His bushy eyes brows almost cover his eyes, but in the right angle you can see the detail a beauty in them. Two curtains of hair part at his nose, exposing his mouth and snout. The painted detail is what really makes this look like a real dog as it has a two tone patina that blends from dark on his back to light gold at the bottom of his torso, also light on his ears, eyebrows and nose. This sculpture is in perfect condition. Bronze Dimensions :Height 5″ x Width 9″. Weight : 4 LBS Inventory 98FLC1035089. Bulls are much more muscular than cows, with thicker bones, larger feet, a very muscular neck, and a large, bony head with protective ridges over the eyes. These features assist bulls in fighting for domination over a herd, giving the winner superior access to cows for reproduction. The hair is generally shorter on the body, but on the neck and head there is often a “mane” of curlier, woolly hair. Bulls are usually about the same height as cows or a little taller, but because of the additional muscle and bone they often weigh far more. This bull is leaning his head a little down and he is eating greens off the floor. This sculpture was cast using the ancient old “Lost Wax Method” stained in brown patina finish for preservation. He is dressed in his royal armor and is ready to head into battle. He wears chest and leg armor which are adorned with intricate details such as the small clasps and bolts that hold his armor together. On his chest armor he has unique trimming which looks like it belongs to a royal wardrobe. He wears a thick clasp link belt which holds his sheath for his sword. His helmet is closely related to the pickelhaube, which was a common helmet worn in early 19th century, the pickelhaube was designed from ancient Prussian helmets. He has a prominent stance and a stern and concerned look. He has fine straight lines which make his jaw line very prominent giving this sculpture a more dignified feel. Under his helmet and his chest armor he wears a texturized cloth, looking like it could be made of wool, which helps ease the heaver weight of the armor. In his one hand he holds an incense burner, blessing his surroundings and warning off evil spirits. This bronze sculpture has a tow tone brown patina. It is mounted on a black marble base and is signed by the artist Giancarlo. This is a limited edition bronze sculpture which was casted using the Lost Wax Method.
