Ondine by Dan Martin. Limited edition No 50/90. A substantial pure solid bronze figure with incredible detail cast by the traditional lost wax method, and direct from The Art Foundry, Royal Leamington Spa. Born in Leeds, Dan was first introduced to sculpting whilst studying entertainment design at Teeside University. Upon graduation from University he worked as a commercial sculptor and model maker, working on everything from small scale set models for stop motion animation, to full scale animatronic characters. After a few years he began to focus more on detailed sculpture and in terms of the visual style, it is impossible to place his work in one particular category-such is his talent. The Art Foundry has commissioned several pieces from Dan, which are due for release in 2020, and we are very excited to be collaborating with him in the future. Produced using the ancient art of lost wax casting to ensure superior detail and finish. Patinated in a stunning verdigris. Mounted on polished concrete. Weight approx 2.5 kilos. European Made Marble Pure Bronze Strong Abstract Bull Ox Art Statue Decorative

This sculpture is in perfect condition. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base: Height 8″ X Width 7″. Marble Dimensions: 3″ X 3″. Height without base: 5. This magnificent modern and abstract sculpture is of a charging bull. With his head down, his nostrils` flared and his muscles tightened he rears up to stomp the ground before him, releasing a vibrating grunt, he makes his presence known. All he see`s now is red and he is raging angry, his horns are sharp and solid and he prepares to charge his nemesis and take him down. He is an extremely muscular and dense creature, thick rolls of muscle curl around his neck for protection; he was made for these sorts of confrontations of physical strength. His tail curls up in a swift motion and off he goes, frozen in his pose and replicated in a true masterpiece of bronze artwork. This modern and abstract piece is perfect for a modern based theme. Handmade of 100% bronze and resting on a solid black marble base this sculpture has a two tone brown patina and is cast using the ancient “Lost Wax Method”. This sculpture is signed by. This sculpture is in perfect condition. Like the paintings, this bronze shows an idealized view of the real crossing that Napoleon`s army made through the St. Bernard Pass in 1800, which enabled the French to surprise the Austrian army and win victory at the Battle of Marengo in June of 1800. As in David`s paintings, this bronze references Hannibal (Annibal), the great Carthaginian general who marched into the Italian peninsula during the Second Punic War and won a great battle against the Romans. Napoleon was known to have quoted Hannibal and likened his attack on the Austrians to Hannibal`s attack upon the Romans. This sculpture was cast using the Lost Wax Method and has abrown patina and is signed. It is mounted ona black marble base and is signed Aldo Vitaleh, sure to draw an eye of all those around. This thoroughbred and jockey are on a mission to win first place. In full stride this horse gallops his way to a fast finish. Running on a grass track this horse refuses to lose this derby. He exerts full speed as he pushes against the wind, his tail flys back with force, as the jockey encourages his partner to go full speed ahead. The jockey and the Horse both wear a look of determination as they stare down the finish line. The Horse lets out a neigh while pushing himself to the limit. Beautifully detailed his muscles are hard as he runs, his chest bulges with energy. The grass seems to be untouched with hoof prints assuming our horse has the lead. The jockey stays concentrated as he kicks his heels inward, keeping his feet in the stirrups. This is a great action piece and deserves to be displayed up front and center on a glory wall. This is a great gift to give for an avid horse lover it is also suitable for the person with drive in their life.
