A Rare Pure Bronze, ” Chameleon, ” in Light patina statue, on circular black Marble base. This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique is securely mounted on a solid marble base. The statue, overall, is 590 mm (23 1/4″) high, around 220 mm (8 5/8″) wide, nose to tail & weighs 7,5 kgs (16,5 lbs). The circular black marble base is 200 mm (8″) diameter x 40 mm (1 1/2″) thick. A stunning Light Patina bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any interior. A superb example of this unusual & exotic animal, showing use of the prehensile tail, on top of a branch. This one carries the foundry coin & artist stamp.
