This sculpture is in perfect condition. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base:Height 15.5″ x Width 10″. Marble Dimensions: 8″ X 6″. Height without base: 14.5. This is an exquisite bronze bust of a Native American warrior chief. He stares at the beholder, wild and bold, with an air of spiritual resilience. His hair is adorned with braids. He wears a custom Jewelry which was a popular chest ornament or armor. Such breastplates were worn on occasion in battle, but could be penetrated easily by an arrow or a bullet, so they were mainly a decorative or medicine item. The sculpture was molded using the archaic method of lost-wax casting with skin tones finished in a brown patina stain for perpetuation. The chief is mounted upon a black marble and is signed by artist Milo. Virgin Islands, however, an additional charge may be required. This Male elephant plunges his trunk right into the water and starts bathing him in a cooling coat water and mud. He sucks water up with his trunk to spray it on himself and to also grab a drink to quench his thirst. This sculpture has great detail and captures this amazing animal in its natural environment. This bronze sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method” and has a brown patina. It is mounted on a marble base and signed by the artist Milo. World famous sculptor ” Milo ” is the artistic partner of the Lynn Forbes School of Sculpture-and is offering an exclusive signature in the wax of every piece of his items, which are Custom Cast with European Bronze Finery. In effect it makes EACH SCULPTURE an ORIGINAL since each one is different than the next (similar to a Limited Edition).
