A substantial pure solid bronze figure with incredible detail cast by the traditional lost wax method at The Art Foundry, Royal Leamington Spa. Born in Leicester, Steve Boss is a sculptor with 25 years experience in fine art. He began his career as an apprentice jeweller in the late 80’s followed by several years working primarily with pewter, creating intricate miniature designs, and exploring different materials and techniques. The focus of Steve’s work then turned to sculptures inspired by the natural world and he spent 17 years as an in-house sculptor with Country Artists before branching out as a freelance sculptor and model-maker. Produced using the ancient art of lost wax casting to ensure superior detail and finish. Mounted on polished concrete. Weight approx 20 kilos.
